A display of the Mogwai known as Daffy from Joe Dante's horror-comedy sequel Gremlins 2: The New Batch. Daffy was one of a group of Gremlins who terrorised the Clamp Centre building.

Mogwai puppets were created by multi- Academy Award-winning special-effects artist Rick Baker's Cinovation Studios, and used for the film's early scenes, when the characters needed to be viewed in full. This puppet has been professionally reassembled using Baker's original production-made parts.

The puppet's hands, feet, mouth and ears are made of foam latex and are attached to a body covered in orange, white and black faux fur. It has acrylic eyes, and its foam latex skin is fully painted and displays a high level of detail, with painted fingernails and toenails.

The puppet is presented on a custom-made display stand comprising an acrylic rod attached to a wooden base with plastic cladding. Eight 1.5V AA batteries power the stand, which lights up. The puppet's hands and mouth exhibit hardening and minor cracking. Dimensions (displayed): 15.75 cm x 35 cm x 50 cm (6.25" x 13.75" x 19.75")
