A George Mogwai puppet from Joe Dante's Gremlins 2: The New Batch. This full-body puppet was created by Rick Baker for scenes before the Mogwai turned into Gremlins and took over New York's Clamp Center.

The Mogwai puppets were created by multiple Academy Award®-winning special effects artist Rick Baker's Cinovation Studios and used in early scenes when the character needed to be viewed in full. Unlike the first Gremlins film - which kept the Mogwai and Gremlins relatively consistent in appearance - Gremlins 2 introduced a more stylized and diverse set of creatures, giving each one a distinctive personality and look.

This lot consists of a foam and metal armature puppet with the hands, mouth, and ears made of foam latex. Its body is covered with brown, white, and black synthetic fur. It features acrylic eyes and foam latex skin painted with ornate detail, including on its fingernails and toenails. The head easily detaches from the body and it exhibits cracking to the foam latex throughout. Dimensions: 26.75 cm x 33 cm x 11.5 cm (10.5" x 13" x 4.5")
