Sandy Olsson's (Olivia Newton-John) Kodak Brownie 2A Model B camera from Randal Kleiser's Grease. Good girl Sandy and rebel Danny (John Travolta) fell in love over the summer holiday. Sandy took pictures of Danny during the opening sequence.

Originally belonging to Ethel Kleiser, director Kleiser's grandmother, this vintage camera was used in the opening sequence in tribute to her. Kleiser's USC Masters thesis was based on his grandmother, known as "Peege," and was one of the few student films selected for inclusion in the National Archives. It is considered the film that launched Kleiser's career in 1972 and he went on to direct Grease, The Blue Lagoon, Big Top Pee-wee, and Honey, I Blew Up the Kid.

Originating from Randal Kleiser's personal collection, this camera consists of a leather-covered board with metal winding lever and lens frames and clasps to secure the camera body together. It features a hand-written label on the bottom reading "Mrs. J. K. Kleiser" at "1010 Chestnut St, Lebanon, Penna." The vintage film tray, viewfinders with red window board, and top carry handle were added to complete the camera and were repurposed from a vintage Brownie camera of the same type/model. It exhibits additional wear and separation of the leather, as well as scuffing, discolouration, and patina on the metal. Dimensions: 16 cm x 13.5 cm x 9 cm (6.25" x 5.25" x 3.5")
