Offered here is a wonderful advance one sheet, featuring Travolta and Newton-John as good girl Sandy and bad boy Danny. Additionally, it has been signed by Joh Travolta in blue Sharpie next to his character's left leg.

This advance one-sheet on linen has some very faint and minor foxing on the outer edges of the poster in the backgrounds that are only evident upon close inspection. The rest of the poster is in immaculate condition. The autograph is authenticated and includes an additional COA from Beckett Authentication Services.

In 1978, John Travolta had an incredibly successful year. He starred in the hit TV show "Welcome Back, Kotter," made his debut in the successful film "Saturday Night Fever," and was about to star in another blockbuster hit as Danny Zuko in "Grease." Travolta became a superstar overnight, thanks to the success of the two soundtrack albums that accompanied these films, which topped the charts at #1 and #2. "Grease" was a massive success, earning the #2 spot at the box office that year, second only to "Jaws 2" (1978). It also became the highest-grossing musical film of all time, surpassing "The Sound of Music", and was Paramount's second highest-grossing film ever.
