Sandy Olsson's (Olivia Newton-John) drive-in costume from Randal Kleiser's Grease. Sandy wore her costume at the drive-in movie theater during a date with Danny Zuko (John Travolta) in which he gifted her his class ring in an attempt to make up for ditching her at the Rydell School dance-off. Sandy threw the ring back at Danny and ran away after he made a pass at her, after which he sang the showstopper "Sandy" while contemplating what he had just done.

46 years after its initial release in June 1978, Grease remains one of the most popular musical films ever, with the soundtrack becoming one of the world's best-selling albums. Grammy Award®-winner Newton-John performed several hit duets with Travolta, sealing both performers into the pantheon of classic cinema.

This costume consists of a short-sleeve sage green cashmere sweater and an I. Magnin & Co lime green woolen pleated skirt. The sweater features a white Peter Pan collar decorated with lace trim and ribbed waistband. Zipper fastenings run down the back of both garments and a label reading "20th Century Fox" is sewn to the inside of the skirt zipper. The lot exhibits some signs of age, including small holes and a small mark on the sweater collar. The skirt exhibits some fading to the vibrant dark green from age, but still retains some of its vibrancy in places, while the pleats and zipper remain consistent with the skirt seen in the final cut.
