Sonny’s Rydell High overalls from the “Greased Lightning” sequence in Paramount Television’s live musical even Grease Live! The T-Birds wear jumpsuits when fixing up Greased Lightning. Overalls were likely worn beneath two layers of breakaway costume to facilitate the needs of the musical number. This jumpsuit is made of grey/green canvas-like fabric, with four pockets and a zipper on the front, and two back pockets. Stenciled black writing on the back of the jumpsuits reads “Property of Rydell High.” The jumpsuits are heavily distressed by production to appear grease and oil stained. Small elastic straps are attached to the bottom of the pant legs. A sewn in label from production reads “SONNY.” The lot shows light wear but remains in good condition.
