This exceptional collection consists of nine Italian locandinas from director Victor Fleming's epic film depicting the Old South. The posters are available in both vertical and horizontal formats and feature iconic images from this sweeping narrative. Each poster is unrestored and shows signs of wear, including pinholes, small edge tears (some of which have been stabilized with cellophane tape on the back), chips, sporadic minor stains on the borders, and occasional crimps. The poster featuring Hattie McDaniel has an area of surface paper loss near the left border, as well as two small handwritten notes in the credits field. This lot also includes the original paper sleeve used to ship the posters to exhibitors. The grade provided is an overall assessment of their condition.

This epic Civil War romance overcame serious production problems to win 10 Academy Awards (including Best Picture, Best Director for Victor Fleming, and Best Supporting Actress for Hattie McDaniel, the first African-American to win an Academy Award) and become the highest-grossing film in history (adjusted for inflation).
