In the series The Goldbergs, set in the 1980s, the character Adam Goldberg was shown from age 11 through his teenage years. Games and collectables of the era were featured throughout the series and often formed the basis for play in Adam's room or interaction with his siblings and friends. In the episode "Dungeons and Dragons, anyone?" (320), Adam and his friends played the interactive fantasy storytelling game "Dungeons and Dragons" when they resolved to fight back against being chosen last in gym class by the athletic kids.

This lot contains three Dungeons and Dragons box sets including two Basic Sets and the "City of Greyhawk", one "Female Adventurers" lead figure set, one Dungeons and Dragons Puzzle, two Dungeons and Dragons "Endless Quest" Adventure Books #3 and #15, two Dungeons and Dragons rule books, a set of character sheets, and seven Dungeons and Dragons manuals (4x Fiend Folios, 2x Monster Manuals - 3rd & 4th Printings, and a 2nd Edition Player's Handbook). Items show signs of wear from age and production use.
