A stunt Godzilla mask from the production of Roland Emmerich's monster movie Godzilla. Godzilla was the first film in the Godzilla franchise to be completely produced by a Hollywood studio. Multiple techniques were used to bring the eponymous reptilian to life, including stunt work performed by stiltwalkers, animatronics, and state-of-the-art computer-generated imagery. The film ultimately received a prestigious Saturn Award® for Best Special Effects.

This foam latex casting for a stunt performer's mask was created by production but ultimately unfinished. It features no teeth and remains unpainted. Also included is a hollow fibreglass head from the production for mounting the mask. It exhibits missing sections, most notably on the sides of the neck. Dimensions (displayed): 67 cm x 23 cm x 47 cm (26.5" x 9" x 18.5")
