Jia Andrews' (Kayle Hottle) hand-illustrated sketchbook from Adam Wingard's Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire. Jia drew in her sketchbook to communicate with her adoptive mother, Dr. Ilene Andrews (Rebecca Hall), about her telepathic relationship with Kong (Allan Henry).
This sketchbook originated from a crew member on the production. It features a cardstock cover with a hand-illustrated drawing of Jia and Kong; eight interior sketches and drawings of Kong and Hollow Earth hand-rendered in mixed media, including colored pencil and graphite, on drawing paper; and four printed illustrations inserted by production. The sketchbook exhibits folded corners and mild discoloration from production. Dimensions: 7.5" x 10" x 0.5" (19 cm x 25.5 cm x 1.25 cm)
