Juba (Djimon Hounsou) Tunic

Stock #32205

Juba's (Djimon Hounsou) tunic from Ridley Scott’s 2000 historical roman epic, Gladiator. In the film, betrayed Roman general Maximus (Russell Crowe) seeks revenge against Emperor Commodus (Joaquin Phoenix) and returns to Rome as a slave and gladiator.

Worn after the slaves are sold to Proximo (Oliver Reed), the tunic appears when the slaves are tested for their combat ability and given a colored marking. The tunic is made as one piece, and hangs down past the waist, nearly to the knees. Knitted from off-white cotton, the tunic was made with a frayed collar, sleeves and other edges. On the front of the tunic is a red stain from when the slaves are marked.

This costume was custom made and includes no sizing information, however it remains in great production-used condition.
