A pair of greaves made for Ridley Scott's 2000 historical epic Gladiator. In the film, betrayed Roman General Maximus Decimus Meridius (Russel Crowe) returns to Rome as a gladiator in order to seek revenge against the self appointed emperor, Commodus (Joaquin Phoenix), who murdered his family.
Made for production, these greaves are made of hard plastic and are painted in a gray metallic finish with thin leather straps for fastening. The armor pieces also feature designs similar to the style Maximus wears in his final battle against Commodus.
The set shows signs of minimal wear and remains in great condition.
