This is a costume worn by Daisy Randone (Brittany Murphy) in the 1999 drama, Girl, Interrupted. After Susanna (Winona Ryder) and Lisa (Angelina Jolie) break out of Claymoore, they hitch a ride to the apartment of recently released Daisy. Daisy can be seen wearing this outfit throughout the dramatic time the duo spend there, as Lisa antagonizes in her usual fashion.
The costume consists of a vintage bright yellow night gown and housecoat. The night gown features a beautiful silk interior with a chiffon covered exterior and lace accents around the collar and trim. The ankle length housecoat is also made out of a soft, yellow silk-like material and features a stitched pattern throughout. Due to production use these items display light wear (see photos) but overall remain in very good condition. Both pieces display no marked size.
