Lieutenant Melanie Ballard's (Natasha Henstridge) costume from John Carpenter’s 2001 sci-fi Ghosts of Mars.

In the 22nd century, Mars has been 84% terraformed and humans can walk on the surface without pressure suits. Lieutenant Melanie Ballard, second in command of a team alongside Sergeant Jericho (Jason Statham) is sent to a remote Martian mining outpost to transport prisoner Desolation Williams (Ice Cube).

Lieutenant Melanie Ballard’s uniform consists of a grey ribbed jumper with a Mars Police Force (MPF) patch on both biceps; a pair of velvety dark blue trousers with stirrups under the feet and a padded vent along the calves and a long blue leather jacket with a metallic sheen and an asymmetrical double breast secured with metal hook and eyes and poppers, also with MPF patch on the biceps. There are no sizing or manufacturing labels in any of the items.

There is some wear and scuffing to the bottom of the trousers and the cuffs of the jacket, as well as some red staining on the legs and jacket arms, but overall this costume remains in good production-used condition.
