A pair of hand-embellished Statue of Liberty storyboards from Ivan Reitman's Ghostbusters II. After the slime rose to the streets and caused chaos, the Ghostbusters determined that a good symbol would rally the citizens and the positive energy would weaken the slime. Using slime charged with positive emotions, they animated the Statue of Liberty and used her to break into the art museum, as it had an impenetrable shield of slime over it.

This lot consists of two pages with two storyboards each adhered to the page depicting the torch erupting into real fire and the Statue of Liberty walking through the streets of New York. They are numbered for shots "LI 4" and "LI 11" and dated "February 10 1989" and "Jan 24 1989" respectively. They feature hand-embellished details using Wite-Out and color wash, and have printed scene descriptions as well as "ILM 1989" stamped in the margins. This lot exhibits creased corners and lifted adhesive. Dimensions: (each) 8.5" x 11" (21.5 cm x 28 cm)
