A stunt V-2 style proton pack from Paul Feig's Ghostbusters. A team of paranormal investigators wore the first iteration of their specially-created backpacks, which gave them the ability to contain and catch ghosts. "V-2" was the production name for the first backpack-style pack seen in the film, with the "V-3" being the final revised pack and the "V-1" presumably the non-backpack "proton box" first built by the Ghostbusters in the film.

This proton pack consists of a metal-colored resin backing frame affixed with a series of resin and rubber decorative details. These details include a carbon speaker basket coiled with wires, circuitry plates, static switches and dials, and a copper-color canister. Also included is the pack's "wand," which consists of a silver-color resin box featuring a series of multicolored accents, a red button, two handles, and a cylindrical barrel. This lot exhibits chipped and flaked paint; cracked resin; pitting; discoloration; and notable glue, as well as adhesive residue. Dimensions: 24" x 20" x 8" (61 cm x 51 cm x 20.5 cm)
