A light-up V-2 style proton pack from Paul Feig's Ghostbusters. A team of paranormal investigators wore the first iteration of their specially-created backpacks, which gave them the ability to contain and catch ghosts.

"V-2" was the production name for the first backpack-style pack seen in the film, with the "V-3" being the final revised pack and the "V-1" presumably the non-backpack "proton box" first built by the Ghostbusters in the film.

This proton pack consists of a metal frame affixed with a series of rubber wires, tubes, and metal canisters. These details include a basket of coiled copper-color wires and a collection of circuitry plates, switches, rainbow-colored wires, and radiation warning decals. Pressing a 9V battery-operated switch on the front will cause several multicolored lights on the pack to illuminate. The backside of the frame features a hand-written "P" in blue ink, as well as two pieces of white tape hand-marked "Tested 4/25" and "Green 201 017 024."

Also included is the pack's "wand," which is holstered onto the pack and consists of a box featuring several circuit boards, wires, ports, and a cylindrical barrel. This lot exhibits scratches and scuffs to the metal, as well as discoloration. Dimensions: 27" x 20" x 7" (68.5 cm x 51 cm x 17.75 cm)
