A piece of original artwork used in the production of the classic sci-fi adventure film Ghostbusters. This artwork was used in the creative process to bring to life the Terror Dogs Vinz Clortho and Zuul, the keymaster and gatekeeper of Gozer the Gozerian.
Acquired from the collection of the VFX guru Richard Edlund, the artwork shows a profile shot of a running Terror Dog mid-stride, presumably as it is chasing down Louis Tully (Rick Moranis), with a secondary image showing an enlarged view of the Terror Dog’s gaping maw. The artwork is rendered in pencil on tracing paper and displays some wear from use, including stains and creases from its time on the production. However, in spite of this wear, the artwork remains in very good condition.

A fascinating insight into the production of the film’s visual effects, the artwork is presented in a stunning framed display featuring a description of the piece and the film’s title artwork.
