Ghost Shop creature effects supervisor Stuart Ziff's personal crew jacket from Ivan Reitman's supernatural comedy Ghostbusters. This silver-color, nylon-blend sportswear jacket comes from Ziff's collection. It features a mauve satin lining, zip-front closure, collar strap with snaps, front slit pockets, and elastic silver-color nylon cuffs and waistband. A single Ghostbusters "No Ghost" embroidered logo features atop the right chest. The jacket exhibits minor staining, a mostly detached neck tag, small holes in the back, and minor loose threads.

This lot comes from the collection of effects pioneer Stuart Ziff. Upon moving to Edlund's Entertainment Effects Group (later renamed Boss Film Studios) in 1983, Ziff headed the 50-person "Ghost Shop" responsible for the groundbreaking demonic special effects in Ivan Reitman's comedy classic Ghostbusters. Numerous ghosts and spectral phenomena created for the picture, including the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man's costume, immediately landed in the American pop culture lexicon, where they've remained for nearly four decades.
