Taxi and police tow truck model miniatures from Ivan Reitman's Ghostbusters. Vehicles, including tow trucks, police cruisers, and taxis, were trampled as the giant Stay Puft Marshmallow Man besieged New York. The sequence was achieved with a combination of live-action photography, puppetry, and model miniatures.

This lot consists of a plastic and metal yellow taxi model miniature based on a model Plymouth GTX and a yellow tow truck miniature with a paneled cast resin chassis mounted on top with police lights. A "For Hire" and number decals are applied throughout the taxi, while "Danger," "Road 'Recker," and "Towing" decals are applied to the tow truck. The latter also features police lights mounted on top, a static towing hook on its back, and electronic wiring on its underside designed to illuminate the lights. Following production, the wiring was cut, rendering the lights nonfunctional. Both miniatures exhibit peeling paint and decals, liquid stains, scuffs and cracks, adhesive residue, and grime buildup from age.
