An archive of 191 photographs - the majority of which have never been previously published or seen - from the production of Ivan Reitman's Ghostbusters. Under creature effects supervisor Stuart Ziff, the Ghost Shop was responsible for creating puppets, model miniatures, and special makeup for many of the film's key supernatural entities. Ghostbusters received two Academy Award® nominations, including one for its groundbreaking visual effects.

This rare set of photographs comes from the collection of Ziff, who also shot a large portion of them. Depicted in the archive are Ziff's team during several stages in the development of each key creature puppet, including for such now-classic characters as Onionhead (Slimer), the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, the Terror Dogs, and the Librarian Ghost, as well as model miniature sets at distinct levels of completion, including the Temple of Gozer and Dana Barrett's (Sigourney Weaver) apartment. The photographs, which include one of the Boss Film Studios crew and others shot by the production still photographers, are printed in both color and black-and-white on various photo stocks, some of which are hand-annotated with dates and character names by the Ghost Shop team. The archive exhibits minor bending and discoloration throughout from age. Dimensions: (largest) 10" x 8.5" (25.5 cm x 21.75 cm)
