An original, hand-sculpted master pattern for a model miniature of the Temple of Gozer's door from the production of Ivan Reitman's Ghostbusters. After they possessed Dana Barrett (Sigourney Weaver) and Louis Tully (Rick Moranis), Zuul and Vinz Clortho completed their ritual and opened supernatural portal doors to reveal the Temple of Gozer.

The Temple and its otherworldly doors were brought to life with a combination of live-action photography and state-of-the-art miniatures created by the Boss Film Studios model shop. This ornately detailed master pattern from which molds of the final Temple door were made originates from a crew member on the production. Richard Edlund, founder of Boss Film, received an Academy Award® nomination for his team's groundbreaking visual effects.

Custom-sculpted from hardened clay and mounted to wood backing, this sculpt depicts Zuul and Vinz Clortho worshipping Gozer the Gozerian alongside two Terror Dogs. It exhibits a red smear as well as other minor discoloration throughout from production use and age, and remains fragile. Dimensions: 18.5" x 24" x 2" (47 cm x 61 cm x 5 cm)
