A platinum CD award presented to George Michael to commemorate the sale of more than 600,000 copies of his third album, Older. Released in May 1996, Older was Michael's first album in more than five years, after he became engaged in a legal battle with Sony Music.

Presented under glass in a silver-coloured metal frame, the display includes two CD copies of the album and a printed image of the cover artwork: a portrait of Michael taken by photographer Brad Branson. Below the artwork is a metal plaque detailing the recipient, the number of copies sold, the album name and the year. The display also features a second metal plaque stating that it is a certified BPI (British Phonographic Industry) sales award. The lot displays minor scratches, and there is general grime around the display edges. Dimensions: 40.5 cm x 48.5 cm x 2.5 cm (16" x 19" x 1")
