A Wiretap Speaker from the 2013 Ruben Fleischer period film, Gangster Squad. In the film, a secret team of police officers led by Sgt. John O'Mara (Josh Brolin) and Sgt. Jerry Wooters (Ryan Gosling) assemble to take down the ruthless mob boss Mickey Cohen (Sean Penn) in 1949 Los Angeles.
This speaker was made for the scenes taking place at the Gangster Squad's operations hideout, where Officer Conwell Keeler (Giovanni Ribisi) is tasked with surveillance of Mickey Cohen. The speaker has a wood frame with an 'X' shaped panel crossing over the flat cone. Originally a blue color, this speaker has been repainted a grey color during production. The back panel of the speaker box has six evenly spaced holes where you can look in to see the mechanical components of the speaker.
Please note that this item features minor wear from production use, and has a few surface scratches that show the blue paint underneath. The speaker measures approximately 10" x 7" x 10" (25cm x 18cm x 25cm) and is in overall good condition.
