A Dothraki SFX sword from HBO's multi-Emmy-Award-winning fantasy TV show Game of Thrones. In the Season 8 episode "The Long Night", Melisandre (Carice van Houten) enchanted the Dothrakis' weapons to become wreathed in flame before they charged the Army of the Dead during the Battle of Winterfell.

This arakh sword features the SFX mechanism used to set the swords alight during filming. A gas canister located behind the resin handle would have been filled via a valve at the bottom of the hilt, while two narrow channels within both edges of the aluminium blade stored liquid fuel. The flick switch on the handle then activated the sword, meaning that once its ignition button was pressed, two fuses at the bottom of the blade lit the fuel stored in the channels, causing the sword to burst into flame. The arakh has been rendered inoperable, and has some paint wear from production use. Dimensions: 101 cm x 26 cm x 7 cm (39.75" x 10.25" x 2.75")
