Beric Dondarrion's (Richard Dormer) SFX flaming sword from the multi-Emmy-award-winning fantasy TV show Game of Thrones.

Leader of the Brotherhood Without Banners guerrilla resistance, Beric Dondarrion, was prevalent throughout the show's existence, intriguing viewers with his repeated revival at the hands of the Lord of Light and his ability to set his sword aflame with his fire-infused blood. The inflamed weapon became synonymous with his character as he and his comrades looked to defeat various enemies throughout their many appearances.

The metal blade of this SFX sword has been covered, save for the edges, with a textured dura-blanket fabric that was dipped into oil and set alight during filming. Additional SFX patches are found on various parts of the hilt, which is also made of metal. The exhibited production use on the prop, particularly on the covered blade, indicates that the sword was used extensively for scenes where Beric fought with it alight. Dimensions: 106 cm x 23 cm x 3.25 cm (41.75" x 9" x 1.25")
