Roadblock’s (Dwayne Johnson) Stunt SAW Rifle from Jon M. Chu’s 2013 action adventure, G.I. Joe: Retaliation. When the G.I. Joe camp is attacked by Cobra, Roadblock uses this gun to defend himself and eventually flees with this rifle at his side.
This M249E2 SAW stunt rifle is made of dense black foam that was finished to resemble matte black metal. The piece also features an attached foam ammunition drum with a small chain of fake metal rounds. The black strap, applied by production, finishes the piece. This specific piece can also be matched to the rifle held by Johnson in one of the promotional posters for the film, though it did not feature a strap at that time. The custom sling mount wire wrapping matches exactly to the one in the poster, as well as other areas of unique scuffing and wear (see photos). The rifle shows light damage and is missing its trigger, but otherwise remains in good, production used condition.
The violent crime reduction bill means that this particular prop can only be sold to customers who reside outside the UK. Generally speaking, it is illegal for a resident of the UK to buy this item.
