This lot will be auctioned on Saturday, November 5th. A special effects tank shell from David Ayer's war film Fury. Shells were loaded into guns by US tank crews.

This shell features a brass cylinder and resin cone. The cone has been hand-painted to look like metal and has "76G TNT Shell M42AI" printed on its side. The shell is designed so that, when loaded into the gun, the cone would slide back into the cylinder, giving it the appearance of being shot upon ejection. The shell has some scuffs and scratches, most notably on the cone, while the brass cylinder is tarnished in places. Dimensions: 82 cm x 8.5 cm x 8.5 cm (32 1/4" x 3 1/4")
