A production-used script from Stanley Kubrick’s 1987 drama war film Full Metal Jacket.

A pragmatic U.S. Marine observes the dehumanizing effects the Vietnam War has on his fellow recruits from their brutal boot camp training to the bloody street fighting in Hue.

Scripts were used throughout the production by cast and crew. The script, written by Stanley Kubrick and Michael Herr, is 163 pages including a title cover and ‘Scene 35 and 36 deleted’ cover. The title page has a handwritten note in the bottom corner reading ’31.’ and the script is bound with blue card, featuring the title and a design of soldiers jumping out of a helicopter, and metal butterfly fasteners.

The script shows minor wear from production use and only light discolouration from age, it remains in an otherwise very good condition.
