This quad is folded with a light additional fold and exhibits stains primarily in the right half of the poster along the folds with a few scattered stains near some of the foldlines, an additional light horizontal crease near the center horizontal fold and the film's title is written on the verso of the second lower panel. Included is US lobby card #4, which depicts a great image of Charlie Brewster (William Ragsdale) holding a wooden stake and a hammer. it is unrestored and displays a lower corner crease with two small stains and an area of discoloration in the lower left corner.
"Fright Night" is a supernatural horror film written and directed by Tom Holland in his directorial debut. The story follows teenager Charley Brewster (played by William Ragsdale), who discovers that his next-door neighbor Jerry Dandrige (Chris Sarandon) is a vampire. When no one believes his claims, Charley enlists Peter Vincent (Roddy McDowall), a TV show host known for playing a vampire hunter in films, to stop Jerry's deadly rampage. Released on August 2, 1985, the film grossed $24.9 million at the box office. It received positive reviews from critics and has since become a cult classic, spawning a media franchise. "Fright Night" was followed by a sequel, "Fright Night Part 2," in 1988, and a 2011 remake.
