This lot will be auctioned on Thursday, November 3rd. Jason's (Ken Kirzinger) screen-matched hero machete from Ronny Yu's horror crossover Freddy vs. Jason. Jason used his machete throughout the film, while cutting down teenagers and fighting against Freddy Krueger (Robert Englund). At one point, he even had it turned against him by Freddy. Production designer John Willett designed the film's machetes, and many were made for a variety of different uses and "gags".

This machete matches the one on-screen through markings and tarnishing on the blade, most clearly in the fight between Freddy and Jason in Jason's dream but also to several other scenes throughout the film. It can also be matched to a promotional still featuring both Freddy and Jason. The machete's blade is made of aluminium and its resin handle is wrapped in white tape. The weapon has been intentionally distressed to appear well used and the blade retains some spots of stage blood. Dimensions: 76 cm x 2.5 cm x 11.5 cm (30" x 1" x 4 1/2")
