A Meanwhile City Cleric 'LAH 1W7' costume from the production of Gerald McMorrow’s 2008 fantasy drama Franklyn. The binder contains a set of storyboards and a shooting script.

The Ministry Clerics can be seen wearing this style of costume during the scenes that follow the masked vigilante detective John Preest in the feverously religious alternate reality known as Meanwhile City. These sinister costumes consisted of a custom-made black trench coat (size 42) with pleated skirts, epaulettes, the Cleric’s number on either side of the collar (LAH 1W7) and large ornate metal buttons; a pair of tight fitting black trousers (size 34”), black leather belt and metal buckle, black leather gloves, black leather ankle boots (UK size 10) and a pair of black leather gaitors (size L). Also included is a pair of black sunglasses which still have some of the white metallic makeup seen covering all the Cleric’s faces, and a black and silver Ministry badge attached to the chest.

The costume has some wear from production use and age, but overall remains in an excellent condition.
