Ethne Eustace's (Kate Hudson) shawl and skirt from Shekhar Kapur’s 2002 historical war drama The Four Feathers.
Ethne wore her shawl and skirt as she walked outside during a montage which featured a voiceover of her reading out loud a letter, she had sent to her friend Jack Durrance (Wes Bentley). The shawl is made of a dark blue velvet and features a white faux-fur collar, a blue fringed trim along the hem and a hook-and-eye fastening at the front. An Angels Costumiers label with “Kate Hudson” written in black ink is sewn within the blue-and-white textured skirt.
The skirt hem displays signs of wear and marks, and there are some minor holes present in the lining of the shawl. However, in spite of this wear, the garments remain in an overall very good condition.
