Hand-drawn sketches, concept art prints, and a sketchbook from Stuart Gordon's Fortress. John Henry Brennick (Christopher Lambert) and his pregnant wife Karen B. Brennick (Loryn Locklin) tried to escape the Fortress prison where inmates were controlled with CCTV monitors and dream readers that could cause pain.
Created by art director Simon Murton, this lot consists of a black leather hardcover sketchbook marked "Fortress Scketch Book Simon" [sic] on the cover and "Simon Fortress" along the spine featuring various handwritten notes and hand-drawn illustrations; five color print photos; six hand-illustrated concept designs; five hand-drawn concept designs rendered on tracing paper; 27 printed designs; two concept sheets with color print photos and printed designs; and an Asian printed film brochure. This lot exhibits discoloration and minor tearing to the pages.
