Our expert's notesLieutenant Dan's (Gary Sinese) leg dressing sketch made for the production of Robert Zemeckis' 1994 comedy-drama Forrest Gump.
During his eventful story, Forrest (Tom Hanks) meets Lieutenant Dan (Sinese) while fighting in the Vietnam War. Dan eventually loses his legs in the war and is wheelchair-bound for the rest of the film.
This sketch is hand-drawn by artist Erik Tiemens and is dated 1993. The drawing shows multiple angles of Dan's legs, including a close up of one leg. Showing some signs of wear, such as stains on the right side, this piece is in overall good condition.
