Captain Daniel McCormick's (Mel Gibson) screen-matched aviator jacket and sneakers from Steve Miner's Forever Young. After being unfrozen in 1992, WWII-era test pilot McCormick obtained modern sneakers and was later given a new flight jacket by Nat Cooper (Elijah Wood) so he could teach Cooper how to fly. Distinctive wear in the embroidery of the jacket's patch screen-match to shots throughout the film.

This lot consists of a green nylon Avirex B-15 flight jacket (Size L) marked "Mel #1," with a brown faux fur collar, polyester-filled acetate lining, and a cotton pilot's patch embroidered on the left sleeve, as well as a pair of white Reebok Pump basketball sneakers handmarked "11 1/2." The jacket exhibits minor discolouration and the sneakers exhibit scuffing, dirt stains, and minor loss of small pieces from age and wear.

Estimate: £1,500 - 3,000 Ω
