This is Webber the robot from the 1997 family comedy Flubber. Webber is one of Professor Philip Brainard's (Robin Williams) crazy robot creations, which can be seen throughout the film assisting him with house work, including cooking and cleaning.
This robot is one of the two hero Webber robots custom built for the production. Constructed out of an array of materials, this item consists of a rotatable body and two long multifaceted arms; all which were fully functioning at one time (*electronics have not been tested).
The robots "head" and arms are constructed out of aluminum alloy. Each arm features three ring attachments for hands, as well as adjustable joints at the shoulders, elbows and wrists. The body of the robot is made from two separate sections. The top dome is crafted out of fiberglass, where as the bottom half is made from acrylic. These pieces are securely attached to one another by bolts and house the many servos and wires needed to bring the robot to life. Additionally, attached to the bottom of the round body is a heavy metal base. The base features four wheel attachments and a metal ring, but unfortunately, the ring's attachment poles are no longer present, so the ring can not sit properly mounted.
Due to production use and storage this item display areas of wear (see photos) but overall remains in good condition. The robot's body has a diameter of 18" (46cm), stand 35" (89cm) tall and has an arm span of approximately 62" (157cm).
