Two dinosaur maquettes from the production of Brian Levant's family comedy film The Flintstones.

Maquettes were supplied for the film by Jim Henson's Creature Shop and were used by the visual effects department as master reference for colour matching and CGI modelling. The set comprises a red hedgehog-like creature climbing a tree stump on a black wooden base, and an ankylosaurus, which Fred Flintstone (John Goodman) uses as a beard trimmer. Made of cast resin and expertly painted, the maquettes exhibit highly intricate detailing and texturing, and the ankylosaurus features acrylic eyes. Dimensions (hedgehog): 25 cm x 24 cm x 20 cm (10" x 9" x 8")
