An incredible life-size puppet of Dino the dinosaur used in the second live action movie of the Flintstones: Viva Rock Vegas. This loveable prehistoric pet of Fred Flintstone was used throughout the movie instead of being entirely CGI as in the first film, getting up to all sorts of shenanigans.

The piece is a hand puppet created by the legendary Jim Henson Company, and is of the high quality that has come to be expected of such a renowned puppet workshop and decorated to an amazing level of detail. The purple rascal stands on four legs looking forward with his mouth open ready to slobber any unsuspecting victims and a mischievous look on his face, and is in excellent condition but for a few signs of wear and tear from use on set around the joins, but nothing that would detract from the impact of such an awesome piece.

To keep him looking ready for action and in a position to best preserve him, he sits on a custom built display base resembling the sandy sets, that supports from the stomach up through the hand hole used by the puppeteer to manipulate him. Standing at 40cm tall and 1m long, this great character would be a brilliant addition to any collection.
