A framed Academy Award Certificate of Nomination and framed Hollywood Foreign Press Association Nomination from Adrian Lyne's Flashdance. Welder and nightly exotic dancer Alexandra Owens (Jennifer Beals) aspired to be a ballet dancer despite her lack of formal dance training.

The film's original song "Flashdance. . .What a Feeling" was nominated for "Outstanding Achievement" from the Golden Globes and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. The Academy certificate comes mounted in a black wooden frame and the Golden Globe certificate comes mounted in a gold-color wooden frame and is signed by former president Judy Solomon and the secretary. This lot exhibits back tearing and chipping material. Dimensions: (largest) 15.75" x 13.25" x 1" (40 cm x 33.75 cm x 2.75 cm)
