This is one of the crown jewels for any serial collector. With likely fewer than six known copies, this is the only full-color one sheet from this famous chapter play, and it is magnificent. Take advantage of the opportunity to own this iconic poster from the golden age of serials.

This is a 15-chapter serial produced by Universal Pictures. While individual posters were created for each chapter, this highly coveted "all-serial" one sheet showcases the entire series and is presented in full color, unlike the chapter posters, which were not. This particular example is unrestored and was folded as issued. It has corner pinholes, a small area of separation at the upper vertical fold, and tape remnants in the corners and a few small pieces on the verso. Despite these imperfections, the graphics are excellent, making this a true prize for fans of movie serials.

After the success of Universal's 1936 "Flash Gordon" serial, the studio quickly produced a sequel, bringing back Buster Crabbe as Flash, Jean Rogers as Dale Arden and Charles Middleton as Ming the Merciless. In this installment, Flash and his team travel to Mars to confront Queen Azura (played by Beatrice Roberts), who has allied with Ming to conquer Earth. This sequel is based on the 1936 Big Little Book adaptation, Flash Gordon and the Witch Queen of Mongo. It features an increased budget and numerous improvements over the original serial.
