A Ming soldier blaster from Mike Hodges' sci-fi adventure Flash Gordon. Swords and rifles formed part of the armoury aboard the War Rocket Ajax, with the guards of Ming the Merciless (Max von Sydow) using rifles to protect their ship and emperor.

The black-painted weapon is made of fibreglass and foam rubber around a wooden core. It is decorated with gold-and-red foil detailing, features a solid trigger, and has a leather carrying strap attached. Several of its foil decals have begun to peel, and the paint has flaked away, exposing the foam on the stock. Dimensions: 66 cm x 7 cm x 24 cm (26" x 2 3/4" x 9 1/2")
