A Hawkman cannon from Mike Hodges' sci-fi adventure Flash Gordon. Cannons were wielded by the Hawkmen, including their leader Prince Vultan (Brian Blessed), while attacking the War Rocket Ajax alongside Flash Gordon (Sam J. Jones).

Constructed of black and gold-painted fibreglass, this cannon features an extended hollow barrel with a decorative shoulder guard, a feather-patterned grip and a static trigger. An oversized sight is attached to the top of the barrel; this has become damaged over time. The lot exhibits signs of chipping to the paint finish and minor damage to the detailing at the tip of the barrel. Dimensions: 94 cm x 30 cm x 38 cm (37" x 11 3/4" x 15")
