A palace guard skull mask and a Hawkman bomb from Mike Hodges' sci-fi adventure Flash Gordon. Emperor Ming the Merciless' (Max von Sydow) palace guards wore skull masks throughout the film, and bombs were used by the Hawkmen and Flash (Sam J. Jones) when they infiltrated the War Rocket Ajax.

The gold-coloured fibreglass mask is finished with black paint in the eye sockets and nostrils to add dimension, while the bomb, made of the same material, features metal mesh detailing and a handle at the top. The gold finish on both pieces displays signs of wear, with notable fading on the bomb and rusting on the mesh. The grenade is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Walt Disney Attractions, Inc. Dimensions (mask): 15.5 cm x 14 cm x 9.5 cm (6.25" x 5.5" x 3.75"); (bomb): 15 cm x 10 cm x 10 cm (6" x 4" x 4")
