Ming's (Max Von Sydow) soldier's sword from Mike Hodges' Flash Gordon. Soldiers serving Ming the Merciless wielded their swords when they captured Flash Gordon (Sam J. Jones). Gordon later used one of their swords to break up Ming's wedding and wielded a similar style of sword on the film's theatrical poster.

This fiberglass and resin sword originated from Planet Hollywood. It features a curved blade with a decorative star-shaped engraving at center and a shiny gold-color finish as well as a matching pommel and plated crimson grip. The sword exhibits extensive paint flaking, with half the star engraving peeled off from use and age. Dimensions: 47" x 8" x 3" (119.5 cm x 20.25 cm x 7.75 cm)
