A screen-matched, blank-firing Mangalore rifle casing from Luc Besson's The Fifth Element. Mangalore aliens wielded their signature rifles while in pursuit of Leeloo (Milla Jovovich), Korben Dallas (Bruce Willis), and the Mondoshawan elemental stones. Distinctive points of wear on the right side of this casing, including scratching and chipping, screen-match to when a Mangalore alien barged into the Fhloston Paradise's grand ballroom during Plavalaguna's (Maiwenn Le Besco) performance.

Modeled on an AK-47-style assault rifle, this otherworldly weapon case is cast from resin around an internal aluminium frame for securing a practical firearm. During filming, this casing was dressed around an actual firearm modified to fire blanks. An ejection port is present on the right side with a barrel shroud containing an aluminium extension fitted at front and a leather-wrapped canvas sling affixed at top. Following production, a nonfunctional rubber AK-47 casting finished to appear metallic was fitted in the casing. The rifle exhibits some paint wear and damage to the fins on its right side. Dimensions: 10 cm x 95 cm x 33 cm (4" x 37.5" x 13")
