A prototype air launcher casting from the production of Justin Lin’s 2013 action sequel Fast & Furious 6.

Air launchers are used at the climax of the film by several members of the team to bring down the plane Shaw (Luke Evans) is attempting to escape on. This early prototype was made by production to help develop the final look of the launcher. Cast in solid plastic and finished in grey, the prototype features a textured grip, fixed trigger and cylindrical air valve under the barrel.

This prototype weapon differs from the final look of the air launcher seen on screen. It exhibits scuffing, scratches and a chip at the barrel tip from production use but remains in good overall condition.
