One of the most iconic pin-up posters from the 1970s is this image of a young Farrah Fawcett, pictured wearing a plain red one-piece swimsuit while posed in front of a striped Mexican serape, which serves as the background. This particular example, which is folded in excellent unrestored condition, comes from the personal collection of Farrah Fawcett herself, the provenance of which was authenticated by CAG (Collectibles Authentication Guaranty), and is encapsulated in a sealed acetate sheet to preserve the provenance authenticity.

The famous Farrah Fawcett red swimsuit poster features a 1976 photograph of the American actress and model taken by photographer Bruce McBroom. Commissioned by the Pro Arts company and released as a pin-up poster that same year, it went on to sell over twelve million copies, becoming the best-selling poster in history and a cultural icon of the late 1970s. The photograph was taken at Fawcett's Los Angeles home, where she lived with her husband, actor Lee Majors. The swimsuit, designed by Norma Kamali, was Fawcett's own, and she styled herself for the shoot. The striped blanket in the background belonged to photographer Bruce McBroom, who originally used it as a car seat cover. McBroom captured several images that day, and Fawcett selected two favorites-one of which became the famous poster.
