Roneth’s (Neil Maffin) Stunt Armor Costume from the 1999 John McTiernan directed action/adventure film, The 13th Warrior. In the film, Ahmed Ibn Fahdlan (Antonio Banderas) is an exiled Arab ambassador who encounters a band of Norse warriors he is destined to join.
This costume is a duplicate of Roneth’s primary battle outfit that has been cast from the original metal armor. Made from dense rubber, this armor comes painted with a worn bronze finish. This costume also includes a dark yellow cotton shirt with a clasp at the neck, and a hooded brown leather vest that ties together at the sides and neck. The leather pants are a tan color, with darker patches of brown stitched in. The pants hold together in the front using a leather flap with a tie. Also included in this costume is a pair of leather bracers marked "Roneth", along with boots labeled "Roneth #1," and a brown leather belt.
This costume was custom made and features no sizing information along with some wear from production use, including some surface cracking on the left upper arm armor piece, and is also missing shoelaces. However this costume remains in overall good production used condition.
