Trench's (Arnold Schwarzenegger) Stunt AA-12 Automatic Shotgun used in Simon West's 2012 action sequel, The Expendables 2. In the film, Mr. Church (Bruce Willis) reunites the Expendables team for another mission. Trench can be seen using this automatic weapon during the airport shootout before running out of ammo. Trench received this firearm from Hale Ceasar (Terry Crews) who can be seen using the same weapon in the finale of the first film.
This particular stunt weapon gun can be seen held by Trench while sitting in a car driven by Church, and can be identified as the rear site is filled in due to being cast from rubber. Cast from an actual AA-12, this stunt version features original imprinted factory markings on the sides of the firearm, and has been painted to resemble its original counterpart with a sticker graphic of shotgun shells pasted to the back of the ammunition drum. Stunt weapons such as this piece are commonly used for distance shots where a hero piece is not needed; they are lighter and therefore easier for the actors to handle. They are also used for stunt sequences in which the actor could possibly fall on the prop and injure themselves if they were holding the hero version.
This item remains in excellent condition.
